30-Day Writing Challenge: Day 28

Day 28. Wohoooooo. I cannot wait to finish this challenge. I think I'm going to do all the remaining challenges today. So sorry for these boring challenge posts guys, I promise I won't do other challenges in the future. :D Yup, I promise!

So today's topic is "Something that you miss". My last post (Day 27) was really emotional, so I think I'm going to keep it less emotional today. I know I shouldn't have wrote something like that, but I'm too lazy to re-write the post. Moving on to the topic.

Something that I miss, hmm, I actually miss a lot of things. I miss how easy life was when I was a kid. All I had to think was homeworks, school stuff, boy bands, friends, what to eat during recess (first world problem), lyrics hunt (I used to sell lyrics when I was in primary school because not everyone has internet access back then, and I am proud to say that the business went pretty well. Haha. I sell the lyrics for RM0.10 per song, RM0.20 for songs with long lyrics. LOL. It's the best and funniest memories I got. :P), you know, stuff that kids usually think about. When I was a kid, I always wanted to grow up faster, not having to go to school anymore, to go to work and earn my own money. Oh how naive I was. Never thought life is not as easy. :)

Another thing that I really, really miss is Myspace. LOL, please don't laugh at me. I miss how we can customise our profile page, change the playlist and all. I used to spend most of my time customising my profile, it's the best feeling seeing my own finished customised profile. I kept the screen captures of my profile in my old computer, but the computer is long gone so I don't have them anymore. :(

So those are some of the things that I miss. And to the other two people that I miss, you know who you are, know that I really miss you guys, I wish we could just talk again but it's impossible, I know. I'm sorry for everything I've done. And thank you for being the best people I've known in my life.

The Impossible Wishlist #1

So I'm going to start a series of impossible wishlists on my blog. Why is it impossible? Because it's almost impossible for me to buy these things. Mostly because they cost a lot of money, which I obviously don't have. :P

1. iPhone 5 (From RM2199)
I've been wanting an iPhone for so long, ever since iPhone 4 came out. I don't know, I adore iPhone so much, the design and everything. The latest iOS 7 + iPhone 5 is perfection.

2. Sigma Premium Kit ($164 or RM525)
I think this set includes all the brushes that I ever needed. I will stop buying brushes if someone buy me this set, I promise!

3. Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua (RM156)
I always wanted to try a high end foundation, this one is the first one in my wishlist. I love sheer coverage foundations which is the main reason why I want to try this foundation.

4. Chanel Soleil Tan de Chanel ($48 or RM153)
Almost every beauty guru raves about this product. If I were to buy a cream bronzer, this is surely going to be the one.

5. YSL Rouge Volupte Lipstick ($34 or RM109)
Another hyped up product. I want this lipstick because of the packaging. How. Freaking. Beautiful.

6. Tom Ford Lip Color ($48 or RM154)
Oh hey beautiful, would you please be mine? ;) (LOL) Tom Ford has done a great job with the packaging, so luxurious looking. Yup, I love things with beautiful packaging. I mean who doesn't? But I heard that the lipstick itself is good too.

Okay, if I were to buy all of these things at the same time, my total money lost would be RM3296. Yup, in my dreams! Anyway, thank you so much for reading my blog!

Review: Tony Moly Petite Bunny Gloss Bar in Juicy Orange

Hello everyone! So sorry for the lack of updates. I am too busy with my real life, I don't even have time to do reviews anymore. I do have loads of pictures of products that are waiting to be reviewed. So please stay tuned for that. :)

RM 12.90 (The price at Qoo10 changes all the time so this price might not be accurate.)

The Tony Moly Petite Bunny Gloss Bar comes in a really cute colour-coordinated plastic tube. The bunny-shaped cap is the main reason I bought it, cuteness overload! I got the one in Juicy Orange because I've been looking for orange lipstick for awhile. The colour is so perfect, not as orange, I think it is more to coral colour, but it is perfect. It is not so pigmented as it is more to tinted lip balm than lipstick, people often call it as sheer lipstick. I love sheer lipsticks, I found them to be more wearable than full opaque lipstick, as I don't wear much makeup on daily basis. The texture of this product is very similar to the usual lip balms, moisturising and it glides on very easily. The staying power is the same as lip balms too, which I don't really mind though. It has a very orange-y scent that I really love. It smells really good and refreshing, if you love citrusy scents, you'll love this product! This lipstick has been in my handbag since the day I got it, that is how much I love it. I'm thinking to get more of it soon.

Bare lips.

With Tony Moly Petite Bunny Gloss Bar in Juicy Orange

I really really love the colour, the texture ohh and the scent too, I love everything about it! The first time I wear it, I know it's going to be my new favourite.

Has a refreshing orange scent
Not sticky
Beautiful orange/coral colour

Might not be pigmented enough for some people.

Yes, absolutely!

Yes, especially sheer lipstick lovers! :)

This is a really great product for everyday wear. If you've been looking for a good sheer lipstick, I'd definitely recommend this one. Thank you so much for reading my blog and stay tuned for a lot more reviews.

P.S: All photos above were taken by my amazing sister, Nadhirah Ismailjee. Thanks sis!

30-Day Writing Challenge: Day 27

A problem that I've had, hmm, this is going to be a tough one. I've had a lot of problems, most of them are personal so it's inappropriate to write about them here, in my opinion. So what should I write here? Oh well, I have absolutely no idea. :/

Okay this is supposed to be a challenge for me, so I will try to challenge myself to write something instead of giving up like I usually do. Just going to write about my experience with my break up because it is the thing that caused me a lot of problems.

After the bad break up, I was pretty messed up. I was empty, I was confused, I was pretty much dead inside. I almost lost hope in life. And one day, I found out that he's all moved on. He seems happier than when he was with me. I thought, it's time for me to move on as it makes me realise that he's not coming back, that he doesn't need me anymore. And so I decided to replace him, with someone else. I started searching for 'the replacement', I've met several guys, they were nice, but none of them could replace him.

So after months of searching, I gave up. I thought having someone as a replacement would make me feel better, but I was wrong, it just makes it all a lot worse. I started to miss him again, I started to want him back, because none of these guys could make me happy, as much as him. I cried pretty much every night, I missed his texts and calls. I just missed him.

I was a really sad girl, I don't talk a lot, I was always stressed out, I cry a lot, I rarely smile, I've had issues with trusting people, I was like I said, empty. Those were some of the problems that I've had. Thankfully Allah showed me the way to get my life all back together, by returning back to Him. I was lucky to be given another chance, to start my life all over again. I've never been happier. :)

30-Day Writing Challenge: Day 26

What kind of person attracts me? A gentleman. Yup, I said it. I always am attracted to someone who respects people, especially old people, someone who has good manners and always care for people's feelings. Nobody likes rude people, no? I've learnt from my mom that if you respect people, people will always do the same to you.

I really like funny people too, like, if you can make me laugh when I'm in my worst mood, you should totally be my husband. LOL. But seriously, people usually hate me when I'm in a bad mood, that explains how bad I can be.

Next thing is, good taste in music. That matters a lot to me, I love someone who can listen to my kind of music without judging it. You know, I've met a person who judges the musics I listen to. I mean come on, it's common sense, you don't say something bad about something that other people like.

Lastly, I find a loyal person very, very attractive. Being loyal is always important when it comes to relationships. There's no better feeling than knowing the person you love, loves you even more and willing to spend the rest of his/her life with you.

30-Day Writing Challenge: Day 25

Someone who fascinates me? Andrew Belle. He is incredibly talented. I've listened to all of his songs and I love them, all of them. I love his personality, he's so down-to-earth, so different, his voice is ugh, amazing, he is amazing. You know, I personally think that most of his songs are relatable to me. I sometimes feel like the songs were made for me. I know, I'm weird.

I also adore his family, his father is an artist, his sister is a photographer. Talents run in the family huh? :) I once commented on one of his dad's video, I did not expect that he (Mr. Fortson) would reply it. But he did. And my comment was an embarrassing one. What. Have. I. Done. Imagine you commented on your favourite artist, let say, Justin Bieber's dad's video, and he replies back to you, and it wasn't really an appropriate comment. Awkward and embarrassing. Not a good combo, really. What did I comment? It's for me to know, for you to find out. :) It's kind of cool that his dad replies to (almost) all the comment though. Gosh, I always adore their relationship, I adore how Mr. Fortson supports his son, how proud he is of his son. :')
