Review: MUA Lipstick in Shade 15 Juicy

I bought this lipstick along with other items on the 35% off sale. I wrote a post about the haul here, if you haven't read it.

0.65 pounds or RM 3.20 (The price was originally 1 pound)

The MUA Lipstick came in a black tube with the actual lipstick colour at the bottom. The design reminds me of NYX Round Lipstick. I randomly picked this colour because I saw some swatches on the internet and it looks beautiful on them. But unfortunately, it is brighter in real life. I'm not a fan of bright lipsticks because I don't think they look flattering on me. The texture is pretty dry, wait until you see it on my lips. I don't know it's the lipstick or me, but it's hard for me to find a really moisturising lipstick. But other people don't seem to have that problem. Maybe it's just me.

Bare lips without lip balm.

With MUA Lipstick in Shade 15 Juicy

The first time I wear this lipstick, I wear it with no lip balm underneath and it is super drying. I haven't tried this lipstick with a lip balm yet. The colour is pretty, and it is well pigmented too. For the price, I don't regret buying this lipstick at all.

Drying on the lips

Maybe not.

If you don't mind about dry lipsticks, then I would.

That's everything for this post. I love MUA so much, and I would love to try their lipsticks in other shades. This shade is just, not for me. Anyway, thank you so much for reading my blog, stay tuned for a lot more reviews.

Review: Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Honey

First of all, I'm so sorry for the picture quality, I took most of these pictures and I'm not good with the settings and everything. I'm a terrible photographer. Haha. Anyway, let's move on to the review.

RM 30++

Guardian, Watson, Sasa and most drugstores.

I've been wanting the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain since it was first launched in the US. And they finally arrived here, in Malaysia. I decided to grab one in Honey because Honey is the most neutral colour compared to others. This balm stain has been in my handbag for quite awhile now, and it has been my go-to lip colour as I don't need to constantly re-apply it like I do when I wear lipstick.

When I first used it, I applied it with no lip balm underneath. And it is surprisingly moisturising! I did not expect anything at first because it is a stain, in a balm form. Lip stains are usually drying to me. So I was quite surprised that this balm stain is not drying at all. And I did not expect any stains as it's a lighter colour but it does stain really beautifully. I'm impressed Revlon, I'm impressed.

Stains beautifully
Easy to apply

Of course, it's amazing!

Yes girls! Go get them before they're out of stock!

I'm so happy with this product and I already picked up another one in a darker colour. I will post the review for the other one soon. Thank you so much for reading my blog. Stay tuned for a lot more reviews.

Review: LORAC PRO Palette

I won this palette from Kristina (Real Housewife of Boca on Youtube). I've blogged about it previously (click here to read it). I've used this palette for quite a lot of times and I am in love with it. I rarely reach my Nude'Tude palette anymore (which was my favourite eye shadow palette). So, let's get started!

I'm not quite sure because I won it. But it is $42, I believe.

LORAC PRO Palette comes with 16 super pigmented eye shadows in a rubbery cardboard based palette. It comes with a Mini Behind The Scenes Eye Primer that works really well for me. The shadows weighs about 0.32 oz. or 8.8g while the Mini Behind The Scenes Eye Primer weighs about 0.19 oz. or 5.5g which is a good size for a sample, really. I've used the primer several times already, and I still have a lot left. People raved about this palette, and I can see why. The shadows are really pigmented, soft and smooth like butter. And it consists of 8 matte and 8 shimmery eye shadows. Yes, 8 mattes, it's rare to find so many mattes in a palette. That is the reason why I fell in love with this palette.

White is an matte off white colour.
Cream is a matte cream colour.
Nude is a frosty peachy pink colour.
Champagne looks almost the same Nude in the pan but it is more to the satin finish.

Taupe is matte brown colour.
Light Pink is a matte light pink.
Gold is a coppery gold colour. This is my favourite colour of all. Look how pigmented it is! And I just swatch it once to get that intensity you see in the picture.
Light Bronze is a shimmery light bronze colour.

Mauve is a matte mauve colour.
Sable is a matte medium brown colour.
Pewter is a brownish pewter colour.
Garnet is a reddish bronze-y colour.

Espresso is a matte dark brown colour.
Black is a matte black colour.
Deep Purple is a dark purple with satin finish.
Slate is a dark silvery colour.

When I first swatch these, I found that all the shimmery shadows are really pigmented. The mattes are okay, but they're not as soft as the mattes in the Sleek i-Divine Ultra Mattes V2 Darks Palette or the Elianto Splendour Shadows. The mattes are not the best mattes but they're still well pigmented. But the shimmery shadows are incredible, especially Gold, Pewter and Garnet. They're the most pigmented shadows in the palette.

The shadows are super pigmented.
The palette comes with 16 different colours, that's a lot!
The packaging is beautiful.
It comes with a primer.

The matte shadows could be better but it is not really bad though.
The packaging is beautiful but it attracts dirt really easily.

If it got lost, then I probably would repurchase it. I can't resist the Gold colour, it is so beautiful! I would repurchase this palette just for that colour, I'm willing to do anything for that colour!

Yes, definitely!

So this is the end of my review. I'm really glad that I won this awesome palette. Thank you again, Kristina. Thanks to you for reading my blog, and stay tuned for more. I have loads of reviews coming up. See you again!

P.S: My sister, Nadhirah Ismailjee took all these pictures. Aren't they beautiful? :)
