Review: Elianto Splendour Shadow Eyeshadows

I have finally bought Elianto eyeshadows! I am soooo excited to use all these beautiful shadows. I bought the shadows with the palette because Elianto was having a sale where you can buy the palette for only RM5 (original price is RM15) if you buy 4 eye shadow refills. That's a great deal so I decided to give them a try.

Click the picture above to go to their website.

This is really an awesome offer so go get them, girls! Keep reading to see what colour I picked. :)

Eyeshadows + palette = RM45
Splendour Shadow = RM10 each
Palette only = RM 15 each

Any Elianto outlet. You can also buy them online at www.epayasia.my or www.zalora.com.my. But Zalora don't carry Elianto's eyeshadows.

No! :)

I picked the shadows in 02 Maroon Pink, 07 Shell Beige, 08 Plum Purple, and 13 Saddle Brown. I picked all Splendour Shadow because I really love the texture and the colours. These eyeshadows are really velvety smooth. The colours are highly highly pigmented so I can tell these eyeshadows would last a long time! Each of them weighs about 2 grams. All of them are completely matte. I am a crazy big fan of matte eyeshadows. I don't think I could ever pull off glittery eye looks so glitters aren't my best friends.

The palette is quite sturdy but it can be hard to open sometimes. So you have to be extra careful when you open it because you might drop it. The design is okay, I don't really fancy it. I'm a plain-matte-black-palette kind of girl. Because shiny palettes will look ugly when they're all scratched and everything.

The palette comes with a pretty big mirror inside which is very convenient to use.

The size of the shadows are quite big to be compared to M.A.C. eyeshadows. The shadows come in a plastic container instead of tin or metal container because the palette uses double-sided tape to stick the eyeshadows in. So it might be hard to depot these shadows. Nay for that.

07 Shell Beige is a matte beige. The texture is buttery smooth and it is rich with pigmentation. This colour is gorgeous for inner corner highlights.

02 Maroon Pink is a light hot pink with blue undertones in it. This colour is matte as well.

13 Saddle Brown is a rich matte brown colour.

08 Plum Purple is a dark plummy colour with a matte finish. This colour is beautiful to deepen the outer corner of my eyes. Or you can just use it alone for that smokey eyes look. Also, you can use it as a liner because it is crazy pigmented.

Here are the swatches. From above, Shell Beige, Maroon Pink, Saddle Brown, and lastly Plum Purple. You can tell that these eyeshadows are highly pigmented by this photo. I only swiped once on each colour to get them on my fingers.

The ingredients are different in every shadows but I totally forgot to take the photos. Ugh I need to do something with my memory.

The Splendour Shadow caught my attention first because they are all matte. I wanted to buy a few glittery eyeshadows but the colours weren't really interesting. So I swatch few of these shadows and my first thought was, "These are the softest shadows I've ever swatch!". I wanted to pick some bright colours but I might not use them as I prefer wearable eyeshadows more. Picking colours is the hardest part of all. I think they have 15 choice of colours for Splendour Shadow only and a lot more for the other lines!

Velvety smooth texture
The best pigmentation for matte shadows!
Affordable

I think Elianto could do better for the palette. I would not buy the palette if it wasn't RM5.

Yes for the shadows. maybe for the palette.

Definitely yes for the amazing shadows. And no, I wouldn't recommend the palette.

So that is everything. If you're eyeshadows lover, go check them out now! The sale will end on 31st October, I think. Stay tuned for more reviews and thank you so much for reading my blog!

Mini theBalm Haul

Finally! My theBalm products that I bought from Mysale have arrived. Believe it or not, all of these just cost me RM162.50 including postage. Such a steal! I'm still happy with what I get although two of them are totally broken when they arrive. I will make a blog post (maybe) on my shopping experience at Mysale.my. Anyway, the Mysale team is kind enough to give me the broken products for free! And they also decided to give me a voucher too! This made me love Mysale even more.

1. Mary-Lou Manizer Highlighter

I picked this Mary-Lou Manizer because of Temptalia! She raved about it on her blog (click here to read) which makes me so tempted to have one. So, yes, this highlighter is amazing. I wasn't a big fan of highlighter before, but I am now! Unfortunately, it is all broken. I still haven't had the chance to use it properly because the brush couldn't get the right amount of it. I don't want to look too glowy, really. I figured out a way to fix it but I'm not sure if it is safe for my skin after I fix it. I get this for free so I am still happy anyway.

2. Read My Lips Lipstick

I decided to grab a lipstick from theBalm too. Because the price is ridiculously cheap for a theBalm lipstick. I liked this lipstick, so far. I've been carrying it everywhere along with the Silkygirl's one. And this is another product that came broken. But I still can wear it because it is not broken into pieces or anything. So, yeah, love this lipstick!

3. Frat Boy Blush

Oh, I picked this one because of Temptalia too. Temptalia rated an A+ for it (click here to read), so I guess it is a good product. Apparently, it is. I'm so happy I picked it up!

4. What's Your Type? Tall, Dark, and Handsome Mascara

I can't never get enough of mascaras. So I grabbed this 'gentleman' because my lashes need that Tall, Dark, and Handsome effect. I went back and forth when choosing whether this one or The Body Builder. I ended up choosing this one because my lashes need more length, not volume. I might try the other one if I have extra cash. Or if Mysale is having another theBalm sale (please do, Mysale!).

So that's my mini theBalm haul. It is a really small haul, I'm sorry about that. I bought all these stuff using my own money and I don't have any intentions to brag or anything. I just want to share my interests. I will make a review for each and every products above so stay tuned for that! Thank you so much for reading this post.

P/s: My lovely sister, Nadhirah Ismailjee took all the photos above. Special thanks to her!

Review: Silkygirl Moisture Smooth Lipstick in Light Blossom

Ah, my favourite lipstick at the moment! I mean look at it, the colour is amazing! I can talk about it all day long, really, but let's move on to the review instead.

I believe it's RM 9.88 at Guardian. I'm not so sure. But it is under RM 10, crazy, right?

Guardian, Watson and most drugstores.

Yes, it is for Raya. But you can still find them at most stores as they're not too famous to be sold out.

Ah-ma-zing lipstick! I wish I bought two of this so I could keep the other one, you know, just in case this one got lost. But it's okay, I'm going to hunt for it! I found a Guardian that still have all the colours *evil face*. It's too cheap, I can't resist it. The one I bought is in the colour 13 Light Blossom. Beautiful colour, the perfect pink for me. It glides on really smooth. The pigmentation is quite good, but it is not highly pigmented. It gives you kind of sheer and satin finish.

The packaging looks a bit cheap in real life but it is cheap though. But I prefer this plain black packaging than the Moisture Shine Lipcolor's packaging.

Excuse my chapped lips.

First impression? Amazing colour! This is the colour that I've been looking for everywhere.

Cheap
Pigmented
Glides on smoothly
Just, amazing

Nothing to say here. Yup, it is that amazing. Oh, I just wish it is not limited edition so I could buy them in the future.

Yes, totally!

Yes. Lipstick lovers, go get them while stock lasts!

So, that's everything. Check them out because you will love it, I promise. Thank you so much for reading this post and stay tuned for more!

P.S : As usual, credits to Nadhirah Ismailjee for the beautiful photos!
