2017 Collective Haul!

Assalamualaikum and hi everyone!

I went crazy these past few months and bought so many new makeup. Colourpop, Sephora MY and Hermo had some sale going on and it was so hard to resist! Some of them were ridiculously cheap, I mean who could resist cheap makeup? 😁 Without any further ado, let's begin with the haul!

Now let me get this straight, all these weren't bought at one time, I bought them in batches (so I won't freak out on how much money I've spent on makeup 😂) By the way guys, I just knew that we can now insert emojis in our posts, I'm so yesterday but whatever, I'm too excited. Now I don't know how to write posts without using emojis anymore 😅 Okay, sorry for the babbles. Colourpop had a "3 for $10" for eyeshadows and "3 for $12" for lip products promotion going on May I believe and I just had to place an order. I ordered 11 eyeshadows and 4 Ultra Blotted Lips in total and they're so worth it. The orders took about 2 to 3 weeks to arrive to Malaysia and I think that's quite fast considering they're from the US. Oh and also Colourpop offered free worldwide shipping with no minimum order and that's the main reason why I decided to order more 😁

I really love the formula of the Ultra Blotted Lip, super lightweight and the medium pigmentation is what I love the most! It gives more of a natural look, but if you like bold or super pigmented lip colour, go for the Ultra Matte Lip. As for the eyeshadows, I think they're really good! I've tried for several times already and they're super pigmented and easy to blend as well. Good job Colourpop, I am so happy with my purchase 💓

Colourpop Pressed Shadow RM22++ (RM15++ sale price)
Colourpop Ultra Blotted Lip RM26++ (RM18++ sale price)

Now, many of these were impulse purchases. I casually went to my nearest Watsons and saw these new Essence My Must Haves eyeshadows and I freaked out because I've been waiting for them to be released for so long! I went ahead and bought the colours that (I think) I don't have in my collection, the empty palettes and the bronzer. The Baby Bright blush was randomly bought at Family Mart in Sunway Velocity Mall because it reminds me of my Krabi trip 😂 The Catrice blush was bought on my trip to JB and I was so happy that I found it there because it was sold out almost everywhere in KL.

Essence My Must Haves Eyeshadow RM9.90 each
Essence My Must Haves Palette (4 Slots) RM9.90++
Essence My Must Haves Palette (8 Slots) RM10.90++
Essence Luminous Matt Bronzer RM16++
Baby Bright Shea Butter Sheer Blush RM18++
Catrice Blush RM20++

I went to NYX opening day in Sogo KL last month because they offered free gift with any purchase. I was expecting to get cash vouchers like Sephora does but no, they didn't give any vouchers 😂 I was in line for about 40 minutes and ended up not buying much because nothing attracts me. I just bought the NYX Duo Chromatic Illuminating Powder and got the Soft Matte Lip Cream for free. The other two items were bought during Hermo online sale.

NYX Dewy Finish Setting Spray RM26.42 (sale price)
NYX Ultimate Shadow Palette RM49.53 (sale price)
NYX Duo Chromatic Illuminating Powder RM50++

I saw a newly opened Innisfree store when I was strolling in Sogo a few months back and of course I had to check it out. I had no intentions on buying anything but then I saw the eye primer and the lip concealer 😆 I am running out of eye primer so I decided to try this one, plus it's really affordable.

Innisfree Eye Primer RM20++
Innisfree Tapping Lip Concealer RM19++

Now, this is my best purchase of this year. The first time I tried it, I was shook. And after months of using it, I still think that it is much better than the original Beauty Blender! 😮 Good job Breena Beauty! It's 1/3 cheaper than the Beauty Blender but it works wonders.

Breena Beauty Blending Pearl RM35

Sephora had a crazy sale on this Kat Von D palette a few months back and it was only RM60 from RM200 something. I'm so glad that my friend Inaz (@inazeyy on Instagram) told me about the sale, or else I wouldn't know about it. I was lucky that I got the palette before it was sold out. But due to the overwhelming orders, Sephora kinda messed up and sent wrong products "randomly". I got the Shade + Light Contour Palette instead of the Shade + Light Eyeshadow Palette that I ordered. But again, I was lucky because this palette wasn't on sale so yayyy.

Kat Von D Shade + Light Contour Palette RM60
Tarte Kiss and Makeup Empty Magnetic Palette RM60++
Tarte Mini Set RM70++

Now this older Focallure products, the latest ones are more awesome and prettier than these. The singles don't come in a compact anymore, they come in pans that you can insert in a palette. But the latest products that I'm most excited about are the palettes as you can see below 👇

They're gorgeous aren't they? Do follow me on my online shop ( on Instagram) if you're interested to buy them 😊

Focallure 9 Color Palette RM25
Focallure Single Eyeshadow / Blush RM20

Attractive Scenery

This brand is a China brand, made in the PRC. But don't be afraid because most of the branded cosmetics are also made in China. You can get this palette from my online shop This palette is affordable and very good quality. It's personally one of my favourite palettes now!

Attractive Scenery 12 Color Palette RM55

So that is the end of my haul. Thank you for spending your time reading this post. 💋 I hope you like it. I really miss blogging and I hope I'd spend more time blogging than wasting my time online and doing nothing. I'll try my best to update more in the future.

Review: BH Cosmetics Marble Collection Warm Stone

Assalamualaikum and hello guys!

Can't believe I'm finally back at blogging. I just couldn't find the opportunity to update my blog, being a full-time mom really isn't easy. I've been paying full attention to my baby, now that he has grown bigger, I think he kind of understands that his mommy needs her 'me' time. :P To me blogging is my 'me' time, although my son is sitting next to me all the time. I mean, which mother gets to be alone, we can't be alone even in the toilet. :D One more thing, I think this blog needs a major upgrade, I'm kinda bored with the current look. Don't you guys think so? :) Okay enough with all these ramblings, I'm gonna start with the review now

I bought it when it was on sale. I think it was around RM50 ++

I don't think so

Create your own etched-in-stone style with our Marble Collection Warm Stone -- 12 Color Eyeshadow Palette, a collection of highly pigmented neutral mattes and shimmers. Shades range from frosty ivory, pink and peach to rich taupe, tan and bronze, allowing you to achieve daytime glam as well as nighttime drama. Colors can be worn individually, blended and intensified, and add polish to any look. They come in a sleek, mirrored case featuring a unique marbled pattern.

The BH Cosmetics Marble Collection comes in 2 variants, Warm Stone and Cool Stone. I picked up Warm Stone because the colours are a bit more muted and neutral. This palette contains 12 beautifully pigmented colours. The palette is made of sturdy plastic and it also comes with a decent-sized mirror in it. I'm a very big fan of the marble case, so soooo beautiful! Also the gold detailing, so Instagram-worthy. Now let's talk about the most important thing, the eyeshadows!

The eyeshadows are very pigmented and buttery, very soft to the touch. I've tried several BH Cosmetics eyeshadows before but wasn't a big fan of them. But this palette is very different from the other palettes that I've tried, formula-wise. The eyeshadows are easy to blend as well, which is very important to me.

Beautiful packaging
Pigmented and easy to blend
Great for travelling
Cruelty free!

That is all for this review. I hope you guys enjoyed this review as much as I enjoyed writing it. Thank you so much for reading this post, stay tuned for a lot more! :) Assalamu'alaikum.

P.S: This product was bought with my own money. I was not paid or sponsored to do this review. All opinions are based on my personal experience while using this product.

Must-Have Make Up Tools!

Achieving a flawless face look isn’t only about the make up, but more on how it’s applied. The right makeup tools could help you get your aimed makeup goals easily. Laura Mercier has once said ‘Every brush, like other must-have make up tools, has its very own function.’ However you do not need them all and instead choose ones that make sense for you. Let me suggest you some of the most essential and easy for you to use too. Let’s take a look, because you might want to have them in your makeup bag!

This eye shadow brush is good enough for you to apply your eye colour accurately and it helps preserving the colour too.

As we age, you would notice that the skin around the eyes is delicate and sometimes can get a little bit saggy or crinkly. This would make it difficult for you to apply eye makeup on that area smoothly and evenly. So this is when a small, narrow brush would come in handy. A small and tight brush would also help create eyes that really pop!

When it comes to powder eye shadow, I advise you to not put your fingers in the powder blush to prevent it from caking. Instead, use a blush brush to go for perfect rosy-coloured cheeks.

Never ever apply foundation with your fingers. It is a big no-no! Because you will inevitably slather on more than you actually need and as a result it will appear uneven. Use sponges because they are best to be used to apply foundation.

Lastly, your makeup bag won’t be completed without tweezers. They are not just to tailor your eyebrows but could do magic to remove unwanted facial hair on the face.

Thank you so much for reading this post, stay tuned for a lot more! :)
